I checked out the Retrofest dates at the end of August Andrea but can't get the time off work on the Friday and Sunday. I could have made it on the Saturday but I'll miss the bands I wanted to see the most so I've decided to knock it on the head altogether. Wink

It's a pity cos I was looking forward to it after missing last years event in Ayr.

So aye, it looks like I'll be seeing OMD and China Crisis the week after Retro at Newcastle City Hall.
Have you checked out Amazon for China Crisis cd's/dvd's. I got 'Diary' for just 66p, a new sealed copy too. Why man pet...ya cannit get robbed!! Wink

Some great pics of the gig there Ash, a good gig, never been a China Crisis fan myself although i loved wishful thinking and after gig i was surprised i'd reconised some more. I now want to see them again as they were great performers, the between songs banter was very funny. Very nice people. The whole gig reminded me of the 4GM show there, i don't know how Tabnab reconised Paul Reynolds Shocked

he was another nice bloke.
I took my camera, although with Tabnab there i thought it was pointless trying to get some good shots, I tried to video the gig but a lot of kids were running around and kept getting in the way and looking down the camera Evil or Very Mad

i got some footage here but i had to compree the hell out of it
