Had a fantastic day writing with Carrie, and what a keyboard player she is too. Then it was off to the studio to record 'Changeling' for Max MacNeil, as his higher music piece.. Mick and I played all the instruments , and both sang, ( what a laugh that was), and Max engineered. Ben got into the act by playing a wee sax part. Roll on 4GM. I think you're going to like the results. Meeting up with Jane next week to carry the flag. Today produced 14 new songs.

Great stuff Derko!
Keeping it in the family eh
I had no idea Carrie could play the keyboards. It seems she has a lot to bring to the 4GM table. Looking forward to hearing the results.
Stroll on... |

Not only that Tabs. She plays guitar, sings and writes her own lyrics. How good is that?

On these new songs Derek...if they're completed in time will they be played at the next confirmed gig in March, at Maggies?
I won't be at that one but I'm sure it'll give some of the other fans something else to look forward to. Hoping to get to the Arena show in May, fingers crossed. |

Sounds like you had a great time Derek. It's really exciting to hear that things are moving on in such a productive way. Carrie really is showing her true potential, and I am delighted she has been able to bring all these talents to the fore.
Good to see Max and Ben putting their skills forward too - Is Kai taking a back seat nowadays, or are we likely to see him onstage again at a later date?? |

Kai will be emerging into the spotlight with a new band shortly. At the moment he is putting the band together. I hope to have him on as support for some of the shows, and I'll be his bass roadie....
