Just got an e-mail from Martyn Ware to confirm that Heaven17 WILL be doing their Billy MacKenzie tribute cover of "Party fears two".
A fantastic version,stripped right back and very emotional!!
If any of you are Billy MacK fans I gaurentee you you will shed a tear!!

Wish they were doing Retrofest 
We could always do one of the "Steel City tours" gigs in the Autumn? We get ABC and our favs Human League as well  
They are doing Liverpool Echo Arena Thursday 04/12/2008 or Manchester Apollo WED 10/12/2008 (I know where I prefer )
Up for it anyone??

Was thinking about the Carling Glasgow gig but to be honest the last time I saw Human Leauge they almost put me to sleep,from front of the stage to the bar after 4 songs(Luckily John Foxx/Louis Gordon were support that day so it wasn't a complete waste of time)
Plus I'm still pissed off that Heaven17 actually didn't do the Billy cover despite Martin Ware assuring me they would be
And seeing as they didn't here is the version from our tribute night down in London last year,as I said if you love Billy MacKenzie/associates like me then I'll be suprised if you don't shed a tear.
Listen to the interview first and then take in the song...superb.
I had a girl cruing on my left shoulder and a guy crying on my right shoulder,and I mean they were bawling!,very emotional day

Told ya I'm away with the fairies (up Fairy Hill Derek ) - it will have to be Manchester for me (or another trip to Glasgow to join FUN !!!) as I think we are busy on the 4th December don't you  ?
You would think that date would be etched in my brain by now wouldn't ya  I don't know too much lettuce I think.....
