Hi there everyone
My name is Tracey and I am from Perth in Western Australia and have found this forum through my good mates from Sosimpleminded.com. Being sooooo far away from most of you, i haven't had too much chance to listen to a lot of the 4GM music but am hoping to change that very soon. Don't spose there are any plans of a tour down under ????? Its a little far to come for the Rotherham gig but am hoping to come over to UK/Europe next year so maybe can catch up with a gig and some of you then.

Hi Tracy,
welcome to our world. We would love to go down to Australia. It is one of Mick and I's favourite places. Also, as everyone probably knows, my wife is Australian by birth and that means both my sons are Australians by descent. I'm an Ozzie fan....I used to have the first album, and learned Paranoid when I was 15...medication time...

Hi there Andrea, Derek, Dakota and Shirl, thanks heaps for the warm welcome.
Where in Oz are you Dakota?? Are there many Aussies on the forum?
Derek - I didn't realise your wife was also an Aussie......all I can say is you show great taste !! LOL I hope that is added incentive to come down under some time. Lets see who beats who, whether you guys get to Oz or I get to UK/Europe first.......

Hi Tracy,
Welcome aboard to the contingent of two.... I think it's just you and me from this lonely this side of the world..... 
We may have more luck getting 4GM to visit Oz now there are two of us nagging them 
Where in Perth are you? I used to be a Cottesloe girl myself....but with global warming upon us I find the Blue Mountains much more comfortable these days It even snowed the other day....there are still three snowmen (well, they've now become huge balls of dirty snow) in our street 
I still have family in Mosman Park + Fremantle, so I sometimes pop back home to say hello.

Nice to hear from you and am happy to join you in trying to "persuade" the boys to come down under!!! It really feels like we are so isolated from the rest of the world at times doesnt it!!!
I am north of the river in Padbury, just near Hillarys Boat Harbour on the coast and work in the city.
Its bizarre you say you are in the Blue Mtns as I am just arranging a meet up on the Sosimpleminded.com forum for an Aussie get together .....in the Blue Mountains !!!! We are planning to be there 15/16 Sept and depending in whether we get enough numbers are looking at staying at an eco lodge Jemby Rinjah somewhere between Katoomba and Blackheath. Anywhere near you ?? Maybe we can catch up ?? I also have a mate in Leura.
At present we have a few people flying in from Adelaide, Brisbane and even one from New Zealand plus a couple from Sydney and me from Perth but is hard to get too many of us together in one central place as we are spread out in all states and it is costly as you well know to travel within Oz.
I am on MSN on tb13111962@hotmail.com if you feel like a chat sometime (or anyone else from the forum for that matter )

Great to see ya here as well.
Hope its a great gig in August and while unfortunately I can't make it, my Oz travelling companian Victoria is heading over from NZ so you will get to meet her at least.
It is still astonishing to me the wonderful cameraderie shown by the group of fans on this and SSM forums.
