With Owen Paul confirmed to appear at the 4GM December extravanganza, I thought it would be worth mentioning the man himself on this forum.
He seemed a very nice bloke when we met him for the first time in Rotherham last year, after the 'Celebration' gig at Millmoor. No doubt he'll be knocking out some decent vocals when he plays with 'Sons Of Dan' in December.
I notice his 'Favourite Waste Of Time' song from 1986 is currently on a TV ad. He must have got a few quid for that, and deservedly so. It's a good catchy tune and I'm glad to see it's having a renaissance.
