Those French Girls!
I recall a rumour that they were in contention for getting signed up for Virgin OVER Simple Minds, but it was Bruce Findlay's management abilities that swayed the decision.
If no one has heard of Those French Girls - a Stirling-based band - beg, steal or borrow their album, Sorry Sorry, released on Safari Records.

Aye, at the time they were. Don't know what ever happened to them after the sole album. A mate from Stirling, Morris The Dog Shagger (Loooooooooooooong Story!!!) reckoned that Ege Bamyasi drew a LOT of influence from them. _________________ BITE ME! |
