Hi folks

Thought I would post a few lines to tell you about a great U2 cover band I went to see last night.

I have got to be honest I was a bit sceptical about what they would be like. Lets face it there is only one Bono (what ever you think of him!) But I can honestly say at times last night I forgot these weren't the real thing! In fact on some of the older tracks like "I will follow" and "New years day" were superb (me and my mate were dancing around like 15 year olds again - what a sight Shocked

) In fact at times we both thought they were the real thing!! The music was spot on as well as the vocals ("Even better than the real thing" eh! Laughing

). The show even included a video backdrop and lightshow as well as the "Vertigo" stage colours (red/black stripes).

Sharon and I had a great night and it was a lot cheaper than the £95 (each!) paid to see the "real" U2 on the Vertigo tour!
