3 December - Newcastle meet upHi everyone!
I know some of us will be in Newcastle for the SM gig.....soooooo, who fancies meeting up before hand?

Will definitely be there Vickie.. any ideas? I know there are plenty of nice hostelries in the Quayside area.. I'll keep an eye on the meet up threads on the Sosimpleminded forum, Maybe we can meet up at the same venue? I know that there will be travelling folk in Newcastle who visit this forum and who have seen Fourgoodmen before who will be happy to share a get together with us!

Great stuff!
Meeting at the same venue would be great, so where ever everyone else is meeting then that sounds fine by me! The Quayside is handy for the Arena!

Count Jim and I in too not sure what time we are landing in Newcastle yet but will track you down some how.
Can't believe the marathon starts this Thursday...arhhhh!!!

Not sure what time we'll be getting into Newcastle either, as my mate can't get to mine until 4 ish.....fear not, we'll be there, even if we only get there for one drink!!

Hi!
Had a mad couple of days, as my Mum was in hospital, so I haven't looked into a meet up venue 
I promise I will get looking tomorow!  Will keep you posted!

Hi Shirl!
At lunch today I went to O'Neills with some people from work. As it's opposite Newcastle Central Station, I thought this might be a good meet up as it's quite central for everyone who will be in town to see Simple Minds.
Am dead on my feet, I've been round at my Mum's to see how she was and have just got in, so I'm sorry what I've written doesn't make much sense, so I've PM'd you also!
How was the gig!!??!!

The SM gig was really good, and great support from Deacon Blue too
O'Neills sounds like a good option for a meet up - How far is it to the Metro Arena? Not too sure what time we'll get in Newcastle, but I'm hoping we can get ourselves organised, and get to the bar sometime between 4 and 5 for the first round

Glad SM were on form, not long 'till Wednesday!
O'Neills is about a 10 min walk to the Arena. Hopefully me & my mate Sara will be there by 5'oclock
Can send you me mobile number so if there's any probs or anythin....not that there will be LOL!
