a new member to forum!Hi everyone!I'm Vickie and come from Northumberland. Have recently descovered the wonderful sound of FGM and am looking forward to going to my first gig!! Can you believe that, I must be the only one on this forum!!

Hexham is a nice place Vickie. Some great surroundings too, with lots of history. Right up my street infact. As for the Simple Minds gig. I haven't bought tickets yet. I wanted to see if Derko n' Mick were part of the plans before I made a decision. Me and my mate Billy went to the Carling Academy in Feb '06 to see them on their 'Black And White' tour. It was a decent gig but there was something(s) missing
If you're going to the Arena, have a great time.

I'll be at the SM gig in Newcastle with friends from Aussie, Belgium, Germany and Scotland (poor Bruce, he gets to drive!!). And we will definitely all be in Glasgow for the 4GM/Sons of Dan gig (and that othr lot, lol). |

Hey Vickie! Welcome to 4GM land! LOL!!
We will be travelling from Australia to see Simple Minds and 4GM in November/December. We too will be at the Newcastle gig (5th row YAY!) Northumberland is so beautiful, we'll probably go through there to get to Glasgow. Can't wait to see 4GM too, Mr. Forbes and James have done a great job organising everything!

Haven't got my Simple Minds ticket yet for Newcastle. Not sure if my mate can go. Hopefully she will, as I've told her it's for my birthday, even though that's in September! As it's been quite some time since I last saw SM & am so looking forward to seing 4GM, I've now 'designated' the 3rd & 4th Dec as my Birthday LOL ! Whatever happens about the Newcastle gig, am going to try my beat to travel to Glasgow on the 4th....will keep you posted!
Can I also say a big THANK YOU to everyone for making me feel so welcome at the home of 4GM and am so looking forward to meeting up with you all. Love Vickie XXX
