And she's back for one last try!Hiya all!
This is Edith, back to this forum yet another time.
Because I started up a yahoo account, I was able to give it one more try to register on this forum and, hopefully, this time I won't meet any troubles with logging in!
Maybe the administrator could remove my other two accounts?
Those accounts I can't use because for some weird reason it doesn't accept a login.
So guys, keep all your fingers crossed!
And if I happen to fall silent yet again, you'll know that the login gave me problems for the third time! If that happens, I won't try again.
In that case you can contact me on the sosimpleminded forum or my regular email address.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys!
It's been a tough couple of months, my friends who kept in touch on the ssm forum and on msn know all about it.
So Derek, sorry to disappoint you, not much leather outfits for me for a long time
Great to hear you will meet DeviantUK again, Will!
Last time I met them was this weekend, when they played at Rotterdam.
I just love their new song! Can't wait for the new album!
Anyway, I'd better start catching up on my reading here!

Yet another member of the forum who eats raw herring, FEBO burgers, horse meat, cheese and everything else smothered in a thick Satay (peanut) sauce - obviously peanut allergies haven't, thankfully, reached the Netherlands!
That may sound stereotypical, but, hey! I'm the man that lives in a Windmill in Amsterdam, rides a junkie-sourced bicycle, eats cheese like there's no tomorrow, has two huge 'mice' on the stairs all the time (Okay, their actually Alaskan Malamutes-hybrid-Grey Wolves - but take enough mushrooms and they look like huge mice!) and I admit that I've, on occasion, when the need has arisen, stuck my finger in a dyke!

Sorry to disappoint you, but if you knew me you would know that I'm nowhere near typically Dutch!
I admit I love fish, raw or otherwise, and put an occassional slice of cheese on my bread. But I need to think very hard to remember when was the last time I ate a Febo burger (if I ever had), don't like peanut butter and put chicken burgers over horse meat! LOL
But I DO like to cycle along the dykes!

Ja ja, zeker weten - en een broodje met hagelslag ook, toch?!
I actually went to view a house to buy in Krommenie (or was it Assendelft?) a few years back.
Sounded great ... on paper. Needed a 'little bit of decorative work', had a garage, etc.
Well the 'little bit of decorative work' needed was a demolition crew, and the "garage" - that was leaning towards Mecca when I visited - probably needed Asbestos teams working overtime to remove it!
Still, probably a friendlier place than some places I visited at the same time.
I saw on Funda, a stunning looking two-storey 3-bedroomed apartment on the harbour front of Volendam. It had it ALL!!! The most stunning of views! Looking directly over to the statue of Mary at the exit/entrance to the harbour. A Poggenpohl kitchen with Gaggenau appliances(= €10,000’s), a real “Jacuzzi” whirlpool and a real “Jacuzzi” steam shower. And the price was VERY reasonable. I called the Makelaars (Estate Agents) in Purmerend and enquired over the property. “Are YOU going to live there?” the lady enquired. “Yes!”, I replied, wondering why she’d asked what I thought was a strange question. “Well, I’ll send you a brochure. I’ll even sell you the place. But you DON’T want to live in Volendam”. It was only later I realised that there’s about three surnames in the Volendam phone book! How many Jan Smit’s? And, the test to find out if a Volendam girl was a virgin was to see if she could run faster than any of her male relatives! Also, the fact that the Burgermeester (Mayor) of Volendam reckoned 80(!)% of the 18 - 30 year olds there were regularily snorting coke was a ‘bit’ off putting.
Glad I stayed put in SinCity!
