Back to the 80s - Braehead Arena - 31 May '08Hi everyone!As has already been announced on the website, Four Good Men will be playing at this festival. After the Christmas gig, and all the fun we had, I’ve been out and secured myself a ticket for this already. Confirmed acts also appearing will be The Human League, Tony Hadley, Heaven 17, Limahl, Katrina (from the Waves) and Hazell Dean, and there are more acts to be confirmed. For those of you travelling from a distance, eg Sweden(!) or the Netherlands(!), Braehead is by the River Clyde, on the border of Glasgow and Renfrew, on the other side of which are Glasgow Airport and Paisley. Accordingly, there are plenty of hotels in the vicinity: Travelodge, Express by Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn, Ramada and Premier Inn, all adjacent to the airport, The Normandy and Glynhill, both in Renfrew, Watermill (Paisley), Swallow (near Ibrox stadium) and the Crookston Hotel isn't too far away either. A new hotel opening later this month next to IKEA is the Purple Hotel. (This one is probably closest to Braehead Shopping Centre and Arena). I’m sure that if Pamie can think of any more hotels, then she will post them on the forum. No doubt I’ll still be jet-lagged after coming home from Mexico on 30 May, but I look forward to seeing all of you who can make it. Would love to go and it's not that far from me but my wee Sister is getting married the next day in Ayr and I'm her chauffer (basically been warned off,espec after the Xmas do  )
