Braehead soonCan't wait for the Braehead gig, it's going to be great. It's a pity the old guard won't be there, but c'est la vie...we will carry on, don't worry, but this phase of fourgoodmen is certainly at an end. The way things are going, we could be delving into the lower half of this United country. I will start the hunt for a Xmas venue for our usual shindig, in new guise, and hopefully , by that time, we will have something new to play you. I have a spell off from touring at the moment, until whatever kicks in, so sharpening my pencil for the new stuff. For those who are interested, I have another guitar for sale on ebay. It's a Danelectro DC 59, the Jimmy Page model, that is well sought after...I have it under the usual 'ex Simple Minds' banner, so it should be easy to find...adios for now

Sorry I won't be at Braehead. I trust it will be a good night. It was great to catch up with you, Smiley and James at Liverpool, then you and James on the recent Damned/Alarm dates. Dan, Darren, Marnie and Shula also had a great time in Leeds, and I enjoyed catching up with various Alarm fans at the gigs. It was especially lovely to catch up with Lily, Helen and Dennis at Liverpool, who made it to the Darvel gig.
I'm back north of the border this weekend - probably catch up with James again at the ABC on Saturday??

Hiya there
I'll be at Braehead too - dressed a la Cyndi Lauper, so ye'll no have any problem finding me. Thought I was a bit dowdy last year 'til Chrissie helped me out with bright leg warmers for my buggered ankle. I'll be sporting them again, dressed in the "corpie" colours of orange and green. Cannae wait. Might look a treat at the roller disco - pity I don't know any CL songs too well for the karaoke, but I'll give it a bash.
Anyone else coming along? FFL can you send me a PM with your phone number - ta.

Oh hell Derek - please don't tell me you've recruited the infamous Mr Paul Gadd?!! Only kidding, I DON'T want to be in his gang.
Just make sure you "save the best 'til last".
RIP Four Good Men ... Long Live a Bunch of Great Blokes. See ya later - ye'll not exactly miss me.
