CHAT ROOMJust a quick one to say that after a couple of requests earlier today for a Chat Room, I've now added one to the new 4GM site. I've had a few teething troubles putting it together, and doubtless there'll one or two more to contend with, but it IS actually up and running.
For anyone who is interested, you can go to the homepage and select FORUM/ CHATROOM from the menu. Once you're there, scroll down the page and join up. Then log-in and press the link - TO ENTER THE CHAT ROOM CLICK HERE.
I hope I've got that right 
Any probs, just post back on here and Jeran Genie will help you out....he he  [go on then, me too ]
I'm sure this new addition to the site will be a lot of fun.

Ey-up pop pickers !!
Just a quicky to say that I've shut the chat room down for a couple of hours due to one or two problems. I've been in and reset the chat facility to clear one or two gremlins that have caused the teething troubles since the room was set up last Saturday afternoon. Hopefully everything will be ok, regardless of this the room will be back up and running at approx 7.00pm tonight GMT.
Apologies for the inconvenience, hopefully we'll all benefit from the temporary closure.

Kelley, you could try around then, or maybe an hour later. I tend to be online for the best part of the evening.. ( ) so you could try from 2pm your time.. I think you are about 5 hours behind the UK, so that would make it 7pm UK time, 8pm European time.. Once we are in there, we tend to stay for the duration, so you will catch quite a few of us in there..

It was my first time yesterday.....in the FGM chatroom that is .......and I enjoyed it very much.
Sorry that I didn't say much but I couldn't keep up with you lot, between knowing who is who (thanks for helping out Shirl ) reading everything and wanting to type something in english ....and also laughing my head off not able to type anything ........you already moved on .

Yeah, it's 10am in Sydney now - is he in Sydney or Melbourne? I think he's in Melbourne, which is an hour behind (so it's 9am there now).
The 4GM Forum says it's 1am, so Sydney is 9 hours ahead of Scotland (and Melb 8 hours) (if that helps you?!)....
Be great if you can get him on board - he seems to be involved with EVERYONE WHO'S ANYONE that tours! And he looks like a pretty decent person too, which I'm sure always helps.
If he's not home, he may have popped out for a swim........it's really hot here already!

I just checked, and Melbourne is now the same time as Sydney, so it's just after 10am there too!
Bloody Daylight Savings - we have about 6 different time zones, that all change at different times in Aust!!!!
The people in Perth don't have Daylight Savings at all (it fades the curtains - I'm not joking!), Queenslanders don't have it because the cows don't like it (again, no joke!), Melbournians have it as early as possible, Sydneysiders like to be different and have it a bit later.....and stuffed if I know what Tasmania does!
So, sorry if I confused you, but as you can see, I'm pretty bloody confused myself!
But take note that Sydney and Melbourne will probably be different times again by the end of the month......but don't quote me on that.
