Yep, happy to go along with the Crystal Palace on 27 December. A nice chill out place for the 28 December would be the Drawing Room in the West End of Sauchiehall Street, near Kelvingrove Park. They do lovely food there too.. (not too far from Little Italy, either, lol.. so we are in a good place to try one of Will's famous pizzas at supper time )

OK.. here are the plans for the Glasgow party!!
Pre-gig get together at the Crystal Palace. Probably recommend from 6pm onwards, but if people want to go there earlier that's fine. I know folk are arriving in Glasgow at different times, so take it very much at your own pace. It's still unclear what time the venue is open until - any news guys? Derek was asking if there was a ceilidh room at the Jurys, so it looks like we are in for another post-gig treat. Maybe if the Jurys can't oblige, they may hold us back at the Classic Grand.. We'll see. After the shenanagans of the gig night, I thought it would make a quiet change to take off to the Drawing Room in Glasgow's West End (by Kelvingrove Park). I have been in touch with The Tracks and their manager Ken, and he is asking how many of us will be around on 28 December. It looks like there is the slight possibility of an acoustic Tracks gig, but I'm not sure. I know they are playing there on 31 December, but I'm intrigued that he's asked how many of us will be up for the following day. Either way, I recommend us going to the Drawing Room on 28 December. It really is a nice place to chill, and the food is excellent. Can't wait.. This can't come soon enough!!

We really want to be 100% sure to get tickets to the gig. Have some problems to order from The Kingdom Of Sweden. You can try call Tickets Scotland, like I have done. With your credit card data, you can order tickets by phone and pick them up when you arrive in Glasgow. They are around the corner from the venue. The phone number is: (00-44) 1412045151 Hope they still have a couple of tickets left. |

Just back from our post gig meet up,while some of the guys from down south and Sweden had to head home we met for lunch/dinner went for a coffee( ) then off for a few beers..well..it would have been a few beers but I think the previous nights shenanagans put paid to it being a late one,were were all shattered(well,most of us )

We got home just a few hours ago...spent those hours in the sofa watching one bad tv-show after another! Soooo tired today!!! Thanks to EVERYBODY for such a great night. Nice to see Jean Genie enjoyed her whipping (sorry honey, I couldn't resist it), and nice to see Danish is still hunting out cleavages to photograph (he'll soon have enough to fill an album). Mine is hardly worth the effort, but as I told Edith, the best things come in small packages. Can't wait to see everyone's gig pics.

Arrived back home from Glasgow late last evening, too knackered to get behind the computer! I wonder why! That's what happens when you plan to meet two bands in two days! LOL
Unforgettable couple of days! Great gig, great afterparty, nice Guinness! LOL So great to meet the band again, talking to them. And of course it was amazing to meet all of you! I will be busy uploading all the pictures to my photobucket and post a couple on here. Although I don't need to post the one of Bart and Elaine anymore, because Will already beat me to that! Such a laugh about those two, hadn't we? And Hans, thank you for the dance! Sandra, if you ever coming over for a gig here, take Patrik's whipp with you? LOL Maybe next April? Great idea, Eileen! haha! We had such a laugh in Glasgow because of us being so tall. All toilets are so low!!! And the bath in the hotel.... I couldn't fit in properly, my legs folded and all! Imagine that! LOL And while we walked around Glasgow, a girl woke up from her thoughts just before she bumped into Bart! She looked up in shock! haha! She must have thought she was bumping into a giant! LOL |

So...
Finally back in Sweden after a couple of rough nights in Glasgow! The gig was fantastic! To hear Chelsea Girl, Changeling and Pleasantly Disturbed live was really really great. Derek did a great job on vocals on Chelsea Girl and Changeling. To have a beer with the band after is always a pleasure as well. I heard from people who has been seeing 4GM many times that this gig was the best so far, and it was really was good! About that video from Jurys Inn... Well, maybe THAT was the best live performance of the night !
Two people in total control of each other. Everytime i felt i little bit tired the days after the show i just put that clip on, and my batterys was recharched again. A pleasure to meet everyone again, and hope to see you soon again! Happy New Year! //Patrik |

Well, I always use a programme called Jodix Free Ipod Video Converter; free to download and very easy to use (if I can handle it anyone can!).
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/jodixipodvideo.html It's actually designed to convert regular videos (like the ones I make with my photo camera) into mpg4 videos which you can then import to your ipod, BUT I discovered that it also has a very handy side effect: the resulting mpg4 files are much smaller than the original files: eg. my video of Kiss Cool in Rotherham was originally 66 MB, but the mpg4 version is only 31 MB. There's no loss of quality AND you can also upload these files onto Youtube... I couldn't do without this little programme, but I think it didn't work for Edith. Anyhow, give it a try! Lore x |

I'm gonna have to get to grips with this video file malarky though. When Mr Newall gets back from the canaries I'll be speaking to him about the Lounge page. We had discussions about this a few months ago, to see if we could upload exclusive video footage of the band to the website. I know he has stacks of footage, not just on stage but behind the scenes stuff too . Maybe we could get some uploaded from the North-American tour of 2006, who knows.
