Darvel 'Homecoming' Music Festival25 MILLION REASONS TO SEE FOUR GOOD MEN - 10 MAYThis Scottish 'supergroup' is made up from ex-members of Simple Minds, Wet, Wet, Wet; The Silencers plus Robbie Williams Band, whom together have amassed 25 million record and CD sales. So - anyone some money to spare ??? .... flight is about 200 Euros, Ticket 15 Pounds, Hotel 50 Pounds, Food and Souveniers excluded ...... oh - and not to forget - I won`t get some free days - *sigh*........ holidays are already planned so far - so you have to ask my Boss for some days off..... 
I really can`t await next year - travelling would be much easier within the UK then ! |

Sorry I won't be there this time around. I already have plans for that weekend in May.. in fact I think every weekend is booked up in my diary that month. (Talk about a quiet year... I don't think so )
Hopefully I'll catch up with you sometime soon, maybe on the 341 tour?? Kerstin, the Summerpops plans are coming together very well, and I'm looking forward to playing host to you soon. Looks like there could be meal out in Liverpool on the Monday evening with some other travellers who are in Merseyside for the two days. Hope Darvel is a great gig guys - hoping to catch up with you again soon

I've already seen Spear this week at York, Sheffield and Nottingham. Not sure which dates I'll be at this weekend. I've got a cold sore like Vesuvius at the minute and I'm waiting for that to calm down a bit before deciding on which gigs I'm going to. |

Don't worry Sandra, I'll be seeing Spear at some gigs this weekend - just not sure which ones yet. I was toying with Darwen, but the logistics are proving to be a pain as usual. There's a family gathering on Saturday as it's my niece's first communion, but I'm planning to make my way to Manchester after the do (it's an afternoon get together). I will definitely be at Liverpool on the Sunday - can't miss a home gig!!

I haven't laughed so loud, been shit scared and drove out of a place as fast as I did that night, I think Graeme was following us so we'd get lynched first LOL JJ Gilmour was good

By Coincidence (well not totally because Graeme asked me if I wanted to come and see them ) I went to see JJ Gilmour and GD in Perth on friday night with my friends. We had such a blast and yes I also loved JJ's songs (bought the album and got it signed my both JJ and GD).
Have some pics and clips of the night but need to ask JJ first if its ok to put them on Graeme's web-site. Saw Marti again as the Horny Devil in the musical Witches of Eastwick on his last night on saturday......ohh boy was he brilliant  .
I was pretty upset that I didn't get to go to Darvel, would have also loved to see 4GM and you guys. But with my friend going with me and she couldn't leive her husband alone to long (he's had a pretty bad motorcycle accident last year and needs being taken care of) we needed to get back sunday evening. When I sat in the plane I was thinking about the gig just starting....."$#%@%^". Well hopefully next time. Just curiouse.....did GD also play with 4GM or only with JJ??? |

Hi Wilemina, Yes GD did play with FGM that evening, as usual he did a great job  what a nice guy, I did think you may have come along to the gig, but its understandable why you had to get back.
It was a great night and very very funny.. xxxx

that happened to us re the road and there's a funny story to that when we hook up I'll tell ya all about it but it includes a dirt track hills, nae petrol and loads of sheep
