Echo and the Bunnymen in the 'Pool last night!Jim, my mate Rach and I went along to the Liverpool Carling Academy last night for my second fix of the Bunnymen this year Macca so makes me laugh he was really irritated by some plonker shouting "Scouser, scouser" all night!! We had a great night although there were lots of stops and starts of songs (Macca wasn't happy with his vocal level etc and some fans heckling him lots of altercations as usual !) ...made the night all the better !! The support were fantastic, a local band called "Violent Playground"- anyone heard of them? Can't find them on Myspace (did a great cover of Jimi Hendrix "Voodoo Chile" - lads sign up that guitarist he was superb!)
Anyway here are a few very blurred pics of Macca. There was very little light in there and lots of dry ice but a part from that my phone is on the way out ( Jim - new one for Chrimbo please!!! )
Great night wish we had got tickets for the Saturday gig though as paying for it in work now (getting to old for all this lol!! )
