"I listened to their songs and find nothing unique about the songwriting or the bands sound.

Alan you are entitle to your opinion and these Hype wars,
but such saying
like this, puts a band to much on the spot to constantly live up too.

And when the whirly gigs these bands are living high on(with the buzz right now fizzels out..
and are over ..
we have to watch your hype of these artist come stumbling down. HARD!
And in this day and age those tumbles are hard for artists!

Let writers be writers , let artists be artist.

Let us all have our opinions and if you are going to issue a statement like the one below.. then you need to be prepared for people coming to tell ya they dont agree with you.

And please put up statements too that disagree with you. And not the ones that just suite your HYPE
Promotional stunts.

I will disagree with you about GlasVegas.
What are they doing that's new?
Nothing.
They are reworking old sounds from the past.
Whats so special about that nothing.
Whats so special about his word and lyrics nothing
Whats so special about their sound nothing.

The first thing that you neglected to do in your bulletin is honor are the musicians
and writers from the past, that all of these bands base their musical flares on.

I also find you statement insulting to the musicians and writers and very famous bands in Scotland that have put Scotland on the map musically over the last 50 years plus~

Where is the respect from you for them?
You owe them an apology."

I agree entirely.

Mcgee has lost the plot at talent spotting (then again, did he ever have it?) and all he's got left is desperate ridiculously extreme hyping measures.
