Founder member my arse

I joined Simple Minds in May 1978 officially, after having 'stood in' with them after original, and founding member bass player Tony Donald left the band.
Mick was the same. I think he joined around March 1978, just before I started playing with the band.

Founding members of Simple Minds were, Jim Kerr, Charlie Burchill, Brian McGee, Tony Donald and Duncan Barnwell.

The Original Recording members were Jim Kerr, Charlie Burchill.Derek Forbes(me), Mick MacNeil and Brian McGee....

Does that answer your question? Are you doing a pub quiz or what???
