Murry,I had the pleasure of seeing Paul Haig perform twice this year,first in Edinburgh at the album launch for "Going out tonight",his new album and then in Glasgow at the legendery King Tuts on the mini tour to promote the album

Indeed! Quite a coup, and Cardinal Follies too (now that IS a blast from the hazy past!).
Strangely, Paul Haig was rarely talked about when I worked in the business in Scotland, and I don't think anyone I knew, knew him either at the time, we just listened to his music admiringly. IIRC, he was Edinburgh-based and, at the time, the Edinburgh scene wasn't too prominent.

Another one to search out is the eponymous "Those French Girls" album. produced by 5 guys from Stirling released on Safari Records in 1982. I managed years/eons ago to get hold of their sole album off of a Canadian seller on Ebay.
