Fourgoodmen at Retro festival - anyone care to join me?Hi folksAfter the amazing last few days I can't believe the news I have just received tonight. I entered a competition on the "Remembertheeighties.com" website to win tickets and I have been contacted tonight to say I have won two tickets for the weekend!!  Am I dreaming this too!  
Only problem is I was originally going to buy tickets and go with my mate but she can't get Monday off (neither can Jim) so I thought before I ask other friends is there anyone else who wanted to go to see Fourgoodmen (and many others) who could maybe join me? Doesn't include accommodation so thats the first dilemma I'm afraid but may even be VIP (1 in 5 chance!) and I would have to travel by public transport unless someone is prepared to pick me up/meet me (coming from near Liverpool - Sandra/Loretta - is this possible?) so I'm open to offers! Have a couple of other friends I could ask but think time off may be a problem for them. Would hate to turn the tickets down particularly after the fab weekend we have had with the band - HELP!!! Dilemma!!!  Please PM if you prefer (is it working now Ash?) or its AndreaFarrington@hotmail.com asap please.

Really wish you could make it? Sure you can't - would be such fun!! Off I go to find a camping buddy (Sandra/Loretta - any room in that tent with you two or do you want to leave some space  LOL??)

Me too fun we will have to swap mobie numbers so we can find each other! Afraid we couldn't get sorted for camping at short notice so are booked in some hotel near the Airport (hope there is car parking yikees!!) Know how you feel re the sleep should be in beddy bos now best go soon to charge the batteries eh - we are going to have a ball! I know Loretta is coming is George? Loretta versus the wasp...... I will try and keep this as short as poss, but there were many of the little blighters buzzing round at the weekend, I was very paranoid about them cos in the past I have been stung.. I was chattin to Andrea when I felt a tickle in my pants, I moved and I couold feel it again... so I hurled my drink at Andrea and ran screaming through the crowd to the loos... I proceeded to yank my jeans down without even undoing them and forgetting to lock the door.. and having gone commando a woman pulled open the door baring my bum to the retrofest crowd... nice!!

Oh my god I still can't stop laughin I wish I had videod you Loret it was hilarious Soz I know it wasn't for you but you really were the side show whilst the stage was changed I can still see you running off in to the distance with your hands in the air!! Don't forget the camera incident too (oops! )..... the best was when you blurted it out to Ian (I don't think he knew where to look hahaha!!! ) Crazy woman and it was only your jean tab lol!!!

We had two campervans and the van for the gear. I slept in one, Carrie and Yvonne slept in the other one , and James slept in the van. We were too p+++** to notice the discomfort. Great weekend though, wasn't it?

A girl threw her black bra (yes one in the pic) at Tony hadley but he didn't see it after he went off stage the crew threw it back at her
I was going to throw Ian my DD bra but changed my mind incase I gave him a black eye

As for anecdotes I had to walk past camp 4GM at the end of each night probably singing big country songs..... should have got some pics, unless anyone with the band got any? Speaking of which, who were the other two guys shooting? I swear I met at least one of them before @ the arches gig. |
