Glasgow Afternoon Meet-Up - 4 DecemberHi folks.. just to let you know that you are cordially invited to an afternoon get together on Thursday 4 December at Times Square near the St.Enoch Centre. There's going to be quite a few folk sharing a few bevvies and nibbles before the Simple Minds/Alarm gig at the SECC. Quite a few people will be making it to the aftershow gig at the Classic Grand later, so it seems like it's going to be a day and a half. Please let us know if you are able to join us.. (Not sure if we need to forward any numbers in advance to the Times Square, but it might be helpful for Karen, who is kindly liaising with the staff there, as she may need to give an indication to how busy the place is likely to be.) Exact time of meet up to be confirmed..

Great stuff.. Just over a month to go and counting!! Picked up our tickets for the aftershow gig on Friday, and now it can't come soon enough!!

Well in the next week or so the Oz/NZ travelling tribe will be packing up and heading your way !!
Liane (Brisbane), Victoria (NZ) and I (Perth) will be heading off on Friday to meet up in Dubai before travelling together to Glasgow. We will spend a few days looking around lovely Scotland (please don't let it be tooooo cold !) then over to a NOTP gig in Rotterdam, a visit to Lore in Brussels and Sandra in Germany then back to Manchester to start the SM tour, culminating with the aftershow 4GM party in Glasgow.
The other Aussies coming over are Aglia and Elizabeth (Melbourne) and Darryn (Adelaide).
I am packing this morning, can't quite believe its nearly here. Its very weird packing winter woollies when we have lovely fine summer weather here.
Can't wait to finally meet you all so please come and seek me out and say hello if you are going to any of the SM gigs and esp at the 4GM show. See you all soon

You will be thought of and get a little surprise - promised.
One day we will meet - I know that. Next year is a better year - think positive Edith - like I always do !
I am sooo looking forward to it - really can`t await it to be there - I missed it last year and even missed SM in 2006 - so I`ll hopefully have a great time with you all !

Hope it will be at a gig of 4GM or SM. You never know!

And you are right: next year can only be better as this year has really been the toughest year so far.
