Hiya all
Thanks for all your birthday wishes. They're very much appreciated.
I had just left work on the very day around 4.30 pm and fell down the last 2 steps of the underground at Kelvinhall. I ended up in an ambulance going to the Western Infirmary, where they x-rayed my right foot. Both feet are bruised and the ligaments were stretched. I left hospital with crutches and am now able to walk a little on my right foot. I'm going on holiday to Mexico at the weekend, and have had to put assistance arrangements in place with the airports and Trek America Footloose.

Thanks for your moral support - much appreciated
Here's a good motto from the Power Plate machine leaflet at the gym - "Believe You Can". That has inspired me to work hard this week to get as mobile as possible for my hols.
If I have to climb El Castillo pyramid at Chichen Itza on my bum then I WILL! On Saturday 24th we'll get to Bacalar Lagoon and will be spending the rest of the holiday on the Caribbean coast where I'll sip a cocktail or six and think of you all.
Had great fun on a mobility scooter at Silverburn Shopping Centre last night. It's nice to live dangerously now and again. Sorry to say I won't be doing the roller disco on 31st after all, but it won't stop me having fun - a touch of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" in the karaoke should bring the house down!!!
