I met THE King of Scotland last night!Hi folks
Jim and I went over to Manchester (yes we have to do it sometimes ) to see the Big Yin (comedian Billy Connolly for those that don't know "THE King of Scotland"). Anyhow we had a fabulous night and had the pleasure of meeting him before and after the gig. I even mentioned our Fourgoodmen to him and he was really interested to hear all about them! So you never know he may even join us at the Classic Grand at Xmas
Here's a few pictures, a bit grainy I'm afraid . I think my camera phone has had it after Rotherham.... (best get a new one on my Xmas list!)
At least I'm laughing in work today - such a funny guy!

The King of Scotland is actually one of the Scots Tenors ' Caledon', who Mick and I had the honour of appearing with at Hampden, amongst other places, ( for me T in the Park ). His name is Ivan Sharpe, and he is a direct descendant of Robert the Bruce. Having said that , Billy is a fabulous comedian.

Hi Edith
I know I couldnt believe it we caught him going in before the gig (we were going in the car park and he was just there!) and after the gig we went for a drink and when we walked back to the car he was just leaving!! Unreal really but the show was fantastic in fact better than any of the videos and DVD's in our collection - wish I could have recorded it (well I did do some ). He is just a fantastic guy!!
Yes I am so lucky...what am I going to do when this all stops
Hope Bart had a great birthday?

Hiya Andrea!
I hope your luck never stops! You supply us with the greatest stories and pictures!
Bart had a great birthday. He nearly fell off his chair when he received his present. I collected money from family and friends and arranged flying lessons for him! One of his dreams!

He wish, Sandra! It's only once, can't affort more than this. So no continuing for his license unfortunately. But it's better than nothing at all. I will have a hubby with sparkling eyes and a big grin on his face for a long time after!

Why does it have to stop? But if you find you're not coping too well, you can always send some of it this way......
