Nick Beggs is a phenomenal bass player and wicked on the Chapman Stick too.
Just a pity that after Ellis, Beggs and Howard he felt his Christian devotion led him out of the mainstream and into a more ' devout' route.
I still rate the Too Shy bassline as possibly one of the best performed basslines ever. Although, that said, listening to it again of recent, I think he multitracked it in the studio.
