Possible gig opportunity for Nov/Dec 2008Simple Minds are playing Glasgow on Thursday (4/12/2008) at the SECC.http://www.sosimpleminded.com A lot of SM fans are coming to this from farflung places like Australia( Hi Tracey), New Zealand ( Hi Victoria) , Belgium (Hi Lore) , USA and most places in between including St Helens (Hi Shirl) 
I think its a great opportunity for FGM to play something on the Wednesday or Friday in Glasgow since folk will be in town. Even a show on the Thursday afternoon could probably work. There is also a gap between the London and Sheffield gigs where you could possibly do something. It would be great if you could do something especially in Glasgow.

C'mon guys.. Let's know if there's any chance of a December gig while the international posse are in town!! This could be a once in a lifetime chance for some folk. If poss, and I hope I'm not asking too much, is there any chance of it being an open age gig? I know that there's going to be a young teenager making the trip from Oz with her mum who would love to see 4GM.

Oh gosh, looks like I better purchase the "bulk" lot.
My suitcase will have a few clothes, thermals as everyone keeps telling me how cold its gonna be EEK, and the rest taken up with Berocca !!! Priorities......sigh

It's a May Bank Holiday Spectacular taking place from 2pm-12 midnight at the Braehead Arena & Waterfront. In conjunction with REAL FM, who were involved in bringing us 'Retrofest' in September 2007.
