Thanks for the recommendation Bruce. It looks like a great place. Hopefully some of us will have the time to catch up for a few pre-event drinks. It's just a shame I've got to head off after the Shindig to catch that bus, but I'm sure I'll pay Waxy's a longer visit next time I'm in Glasgow... as in this Sunday, Laughing

Well just about recovered after my mad dart to Glasgow and back on Friday/Saturday (oh and countless buckets of alchohol of course lol!) Thanks for the hospitality Fun we had a ball didn't we girl!! I took lots of piccies which I will post a selection of shortly (Tabnab - want them for a slidy thingy?)

The guys did so well. When I saw the weather I thought no one would be there but when Fun and I arrived the party was in full swing (later than we originally anticipated may I add - takes time to look beautiful you know Wink

)

The weather didn't seem to have put anyone off and the presenter even said of all the St Andrew's day parties around the country this had the best turn out. Really made me chuckle when I saw the knickers and garter getting chucked on stage (and yes it wasn't us before you point Shocked

) Real party atmosphere and I thought Frank did a great job on guitar too.

Can't wait for the Classic Grand now only 3 1/2 weeks to go (not that I am counting Laughing

). I'm sure Shirl will fill you in on the set-list details etc tomorrow (afraid brain cells unable to retain that info after lots of bacardi and lemonades (yes it wasn't water hahaha Laughing

). Shirl is currently still in Glasgow seeing the Tracks (I got to listen in tonight too - thanks Shirl they were great!)

Well best get to boo boos work tomorrow can't party all the time (why not I want to know Crying or Very sad

!!)

I was speaking to Sally Howlett today(she of River City's Scarlett),She said she caught the show on friday and was blown away and did I know anything about 4GM Laughing

(Sally is another very good customer and one hellava good laugh)
Lets just say she's wanting to go to the 27th show now Smile

Yes Andrea made a mad dash up Very Happy

Footballers Wife and Angie were coming but then had to cancel last min Crying or Very sad

(but there coming in Dec)

We made extra extra strong bottle of Bacardi from a water bottle though it kept popping when we lifted the lid nearly giving the game away lol (it was the wee drop lemonade)
It tasted like fire water on way in but we soon got used to the taste Shocked

Anyway I'm not going to mention it poured down Shocked

but what a treat it was the guys/girls on stage again.

Frank on guitar was fantastic
wee Ben what a cutie with his sax a star in the making
Smiley smiling and nearly knocking an event steward out when he threw his drum stick LOL
Del thrilling the girls with his kilt oh and boys lol
Mick in his leather hat aye cute Very Happy

Ian belting them out even in a garter Very Happy

and the lovely Jane and pipe girls Laughing

were all fantastic
Another fab time was had by all
