Classic.. Only got to see the Skids once in their prime, when Loretta and I saw them at the Kinema Ballroom in Dunfermline in December 1979. It was well worth the trip up from Manchester. I did see the surviving members play as part of the Stuart Adamson tribute gig at the Barrowlands in May 2002.

A shart is a fart with a little bit of Sh.., it was even discussed in the movie ‘Along Came Polly’ with Ben Stiller & Jennifer Aniston.
Known more as ‘the follow through’ and gets a mention in the simple minds song ‘alive and kicking’ Jim must have been singing this line to Derek Now it's all or nothing Cause you say you'll follow through you follow me, and I, I, I follow you here to help James |

Probably had neets when he niva got much kip anarl Gosforth Park Hotel, tried to get in once but got turned away for wearing a rather distateful pair of Dunlop Green Flash trainers - circa 1983. Me mate 'Sledge' got in no bother. We call him Sledge cos eez always gettin pulled off the dogs

It certainly was. I was watching the DVDs of the Best of The Tube at Tommy's on Friday night (after Achmed had got himself filmed for Youtube!!) and it certainly rolled back the years to when the programme was aired. | ||
