TABNAB PHOTOGRAPHYOkey Cokey, pig in a pokeeeeeyyyy,How-do folks? Over the last few months I've been getting more involved with my photography and I'm enjoying as much as ever. I've been updating my site quite a lot and have more gigs to attend this year so my 'Live Music' section will be seeing some new pages quite soon. Next month sees the release of a 2009 calendar from St Benedicts hospice in Sunderland, a well worthy charity. Local photographers were invited to submit their photographs for the calendar via the local newspaper and I was lucky enough to have 5 of my photo's selected, including one on the front cover. Also, last week I had my own gallery opened on the BBC Tyne website, with another one due to open on BBC Wear this week. Today I've added 2 more galleries to my photography website. The first one is the OMD concert from Newcastle City Hall last Tuesday night. The photo's are nothing special, a bit grainy due to high ISO setting, but they're not too bad.
The second new gallery is GREAT NORTH RUN 2008. I was in two minds whether to pop along and take some photographs but I thought my site needed some candid people shots, so off I went. The weather was great and so was the atmosphere. 52,000 people turned up for the race. I took photographs at different points along the 13 mile stretch, mainly capturing runners in fancy dress outfits. There are a couple of TV celebs on my slideshow of 52 images.
