The Ultimate Scottish Supergroup?Four Good Men are alright! Okay, they are excellent! But what (living or dead artists) would make up your ultimate Scottish Supergroup?
Vocals - Billy McKenzie (ex-Associates RIP)
Lead Guitar - John McGeoch (ex-Magazine, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Visage, The Armoury Show, PIL, etc. RIP)
Rhythm Guitar - Graeme Duffin (Wet Wet Wet)
Bass Guitar - Derek Forbes (ex-Simple Mind (a few times!), Propoganda, Oblivion Dust, Johnny And The Self Abusers, currently Four Good Men
Keyboards/Squeeze Box- Michael McNeil (ex-Simple Minds, Johnny And The Self Abusers, currently Four Good Men)
Drummer, well, that's a difficult one ... Scotland's too cold to have dat rythmn! I suggest my mate, Ally (ex-Porterfield, Ex-Saughton, ex-Peterhead, ex-Bar-L, ex- Carstairs, whereabouts, currently unknown!)

Really? Sorry, Willemina, I thought they'd split-up long ago. I stand corrected and will change my original post accordingly.

I met Stuart and his ex-wife, Sandra(?) YEARS ago, at the soundcheck for a Big Country gig in Aberdeen's Ritzy's (or was it called the Fusion then?, no matter) with The Lotus Eaters supporting. Calum, their son, was also present, his first gig at IIRC the age of 4 months old.
What a wonderful family they were. Very friendly and laid back with no pretentions at all (as were the rest of the band.). I was saddened to hear of Stuart's untimely death.
