Just thought I'd mention this .

The Wets Marti and Tommy will be on BBC 2 Radio this morning around 9:30 UK time. They will be talking about their forthcoming album "Timeless" which will be released next month and the tour next december.
They'll also test their pop trivia knowledge when they have a go at Celebrity Popmaster.
You can tune in from 9:30am 9th October on 88-91FM, DAB Digital Radio or listen online.

Also the new singel will get the first UK air play today its called "Too Many People" .

As I heard the news from your bulletins about the radio broadcast, I was disappointed I couldn't listen because I would be at work.
But this "listen again" thingy makes me happy again!
I'm glad WetWetWet is still active in music. As a teenager, I had posters of the guys and especially of Marti on my bedroom walls. Still like his music he posts on his MySpace site.

Just wanted to share this......I am over the moon because The Wets are doing small intemate gigs at Hard Rock Cafe around the UK (yesterday was the Edinburgh one) its to help raise money for cancer research.
You can not buy tickets for this only win them but GD sent me a message saying he is putting me on his guestlist, aaaarrrgggghhhhh.

By the way GD will be on TV BBC 1 this sunday with the Wets on Stricly Come Dancing and again next Wednesday on BBC 2 It Takes Two , if anyone would like to have a look.
Its really strange to see him and The Wets back on TV again and great of course.

Wow Wow Wow...thats how the HRC London gig was last week. I have not been so close to The Wets at a gig ever., it was one of those things that will stay with you the rest of your life ......amazing.....

Special bonus.... there was a after party and the guys came to speak with all of us and we could take pics. I did feel a bit sorry for Marti though because all the other guys can just mingle with the fans and I think he avoides these things because most fans would be all over him........its such a shame.

I am SO gratefull to GD for putting me and my friend on the guestlist.

Glad you had a good time Wil, only ever seen the wets play a VERY small "battle of the bands" at a local community centre (The Hub)
Not a huge fan of their 'style' but as local lads and old school friends I wish them all the success in the world.
