You & I once had this MIDGE / FOXX debate after the Crash n' Burn JF / LG gig & I'm sure I won hands doon matey! Wink

For different reasons I think both lead men had their place in the band, but JF (Dennis Leigh!) was a wee bit before my time, although I did get into his stuff when MU joined UV...he's nae singer!
MU brought quality to the table, Talent, style, presence & made Ultravox the gentlemens synth-rock band for sure! Razz

I'll never forget Deggers comment in the NGD tour prog...yer a bad man, ya tiger wieldin' manic bass genious!!!...I've got your signature on the cover!!!
I do think yer a better bass player than CC...what a crawler eh!

I've got a newspaper clippin' o' you guys supportin' UV at Grangemouth Town Hall!!!

I didn't get to Manchester as originally planned, but did go to Sheffield the following day. What an amazing gig - wouldn't have missed it for the world. Here's hoping they keep the momentum going and continue playing togather. They have been sorely missed, and it would be a travesty if the Return To Eden tour proved to be a one-off. Here's hoping for more to come, and who knows, maybe even a Summerpops gig for them next year.. (Keeping fingers and toes firmly crossed!!)

sadly i couldn't make it ( once again Sad

) to brum or any other gig , but from what i've heard , seen & read about it by others so far , it's a really great show , so if u still have the chance to see the vox live on one or even more of the few remaining dates , u certainly won't be disappointed @ all ! Smile
