Are 'Friends' Electric eh. I'll have to hear that one. If the lasses were singin' the Sugarbabes version then it musta bin called 'Freak Like Me' surely. The Numan parts were only sampled. Aye, worth checkin' out.
Glad 4GM shuffled the pack and introduced some new songs to the set, which were badly needed in my humble opinion. The gravy train keeps on chugging along, which is nice to hear.

| 'The Living Years', that's an interesting one. What's the connection between 4GM and Mike And The Mechanics? Or is this one just a favourite like Rebel Rebel. Paul Carrack had a decent voice, kicked it all off with Ace 'How Long (Has this been going on)' if me memory serves. |

Are Friends Electric was totally live. The connection between fourgoodmen and Mike and the Mechanics is Owen. He sang backing vocals on tour with them, and also did all the vocal arrangements for the band. He was essentially a member...Rebel Rebel is because I sang with Bowie and worked and recorded with Mick Ronson, who was a good friend.

Cheers Degsy!
I wondered what the connection was so thanks for enlightening me.
Speaking of connections...I noticed the other night that Owen's 'Favourite waste of time' is on a Kellogs cereal TV advert. Does this mean 4gm will be playing the theme tune from the 'Coco Pops' advert at the next gig?
Only jokin' pal....RAWK ONNNNNNNNNNNN !!!

Painted Moon would not go amiss in a 4GM set I'd reckon! Or anything off of A Letter From St.Paul for that matter!
